With over a decade of audio\/visual electronic music event experience, IR BCN returns to Barcelona\u2019s majestic Poble Espanyol for its fourth consecutive year, bringing with them a slew of today\u2019s finest underground dance music representatives.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The venue, which was built in 1929 with the focus of showcasing the \u201cideal model\u201d of an Iberan village, includes two areas: El Monasterio<\/strong> and Plaza Mayor<\/strong>, showing the harmony of Spanish architecture, bringing together all the characteristics of the peninsular village. <\/p>\n

Kicking off with Maceo Plex<\/strong>\u2019 renowned Ellum<\/strong> brand, El Monasatario will also see Danny Daze, Agents of Time, Gardens of God, Architectural<\/strong>, and a live performance from Convextion<\/strong> getting things started on 15 June. The next day, IR BCN teams up with Bloc<\/strong> to bring Carl Craig<\/strong>\u2019s Detroit Love<\/strong>. As the name suggests, some of the Motor City\u2019s finest musical ambassadors will be on hand, including Craig, Matthew Dear, Three Chairs<\/strong>, and Robert Hood<\/strong>\u2019s Floorplan<\/strong> alias. On Friday, IR BCN teams up with People Like Us<\/strong> for a selection of special LIVE only sets, with a mouth watering lineup featuring RA\u2019s top live act KiNK<\/a><\/strong>, as well as Guti, Schwarzmann<\/strong> (\u00c2me & Henrik Schwarz), Premiesku<\/strong>, and Job Jobse<\/strong> with Moreon & Baffa<\/strong>. Finally, the weekend sees El Monasatrio welcome Icelandic DJ hero DJ Koze<\/strong>\u2019s Pampa Records<\/strong>, with Robag Wruhme, Axel Boman, ADA<\/strong>, and a live performance from Isol\u00e9e<\/strong>, while Sunday sees Nina Kraviz<\/strong> bring her \u0442\u0440\u0438\u043f<\/strong> family: Bjarki, Nikita Zabelin, Deniro, Maayan Nidam,<\/strong> and PTU<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Over the same weekend, the space\u2019s Plaza Mayor will host two more simultaneous events, with FRRC<\/strong> and Mosaic<\/strong> joining the festivities on 18 & 19 June, respectively. Saturday sees Ricardo Villalobos, Cobblestone Jazz, Sonja Moonear, DeWalta & Shannon, Craig Richards<\/strong>, and Mirus<\/strong>, while Sunday sees a second IR BCN set from Maceo Plex, alongside Cocoon<\/strong>\u2019s main man Sven V\u00e4th,<\/strong> a live performance from the wizardry Stephan Bodzin<\/strong>, with Roman Fl\u00fcgel<\/strong> rounding things out (oh…rumour has it there will also be a very SPECIAL GUEST<\/strong> stopping by at this one!) <\/p>\n

As Each year, IR BCN curates an innovative and sophisticated program presenting emerging local and well-established International brands, maintaining Barcelona\u2019s place as one of the top 5 avant-garde cities in dance music worldwide, with their massive 2016 edition no exception.<\/p>\n
