5 Things To Look Forward To At Printworks 003
London’s biggest clubbing destination Printworks is back and people are excited to see what’s in store in the venue’s return. Issue 003 will be programmed and produced by Broadwick Live, which has had a key role in the venue since its inception. The sound, light and interior have all been upgraded for Printworks’ next chapter.
Launching Issue 003 and marking the new season in the printing press’ history, UK curators The Hydra will present the opening party on Saturday 3rd March. Synonymous with global electronic music, The Hydra will bring Kerri Chandler, John Talabot, Job Jobse and more to the inaugural event.
1. Sound & Lighting Upgrade
For this new season Printworks have been working hard on tweaking and perfecting everything about the club. It means that now some of the newest technology on the market has been employed so that the audio is enhanced through the club thanks to an upgraded and expanded to D&B Audiotechnik J and V series PA. Lighting has also been redesigned but retains the creative freedom that came with Kinesys motors. New LED fixtures and lighting panels have also been installed with a refreshed set of lasers, all by Dragonfly Lighting.
The club also listened to feedback so have rearrange things a little. It means they now promise getting about, getting to the bars and nipping to the toilets will be easier and less hassle than ever before.
Broadwick Live have been involved since day one at Printworks and continue to be so. They are an acclaimed global events business (who are behind the likes of Snowbombing Europe and Canada, Festival Number 6, Hideout) and so know how to deliver on point events. This season they do so again with a range of key promoters, brands, labels and DJs all passing by each week to offer something fresh to the London scene. The Hydra are in particular one of those promoters working closely with Broadwick Live to bring some quality and well respected events to the space, kicking off with the launch event on March 3rd!
4. London’s Best New Culture Destination
Next to the world class club offerings each week, Printworks also opens itself up for other innovative and exciting events. These include music, food, drink, sport, wellbeing and art events that will all be revealed in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.
5. New Live Music Space
The main club room is well known and loved by now, but the new season will bring with it a brand new hall next door. This will be for live music performances ranging from all genres, lineups soon to be revealed… the sky really is the limit for this immersive and adaptable space.
