Every year the entire world of electronic music and their dogs descend on Amsterdam for its annual ‘Dance Event’, also known as ADE. We’ll be heading over there with the full Deep House London squad making an appearance along with our buddies at Deep House Amsterdam, so you can expect full representation in terms of coverage during the course of the event. Ahead of all of that, here’s our bumper party guide to what’s hot at ADE – there is an unbelievable amount of stuff going on and, if you’re going, it’s most likely going to be quite difficult to work out what to spend your hard-earned cash on. So we’ve put together this guide to help you along the way…
Wednesday 15th October
Fuse x Karton ADE Showcase
Fuse lands in Amsterdam and brings along with them an army of bad boy DJs from their own crew and from the always excellent Karton label. Should be FIRE.
Modern Movement X Electronique
Electronique bring the ruckus every time, so this is sure to go off big style. Another British outfit who will be making a strong impression at ADE no doubt.
Thursday 16th October
DGTL presents Life and Death ADE
Life And Death can pretty much do no wrong and have maintained a sterling rep since they launched around four years ago. With label owner Tennis, Tale Of Us and the master himself, DJ Harvey on the bill, this is an unmissable event.
tINI And The Gang – ADE Special 2014
Fresh from rocking Ibiza (and most of Europe) over the summer, tINI brings her Gang to ADE for a proper knees up. We’re really looking forward to catching the curly-haired wonder in action.
DJ Sneak presents I’m a House Gangster
DJ Sneak steps to Amsterdam with a gangster lean and he’s bringing along the likes of Jesse Perez, Darius Syrossian and Detroit Swindle along with him to give ADE a taste of what he’s all about.
Friday 17th October
DGTL presents Paradise ADE
Jamie Jones and the crew descend on Amsterdam for what should be an absolute roadblock. Wherever he goes in the world Jamie always packs out venues, so try and get to this early to grab your prime piece of dancefloor real estate.
Mn2s presents: DJ Jazzy Jeff & Friends
Jazzy Jeff is an absolute DJ legend, so this is an essential destination for anyone who wants to get stuck into a party that’s a little bit varied that the rest of the 4×4-based events that are happening throughout the duration of ADE.
Audio Obscura presents: Dream Don’t Sleep
This is worth a visit for the venue alone, which looks incredible. Maceo Plex and Sasha on the line-up also make it a very appealing party… don’t miss it!
Pets Recordings ADE
Pets Recordings get together with all their mates for a shindig at Chicago Social Club. Eats Everything and kINK are among the pool of talented associates that the label have brought together. Ace!
Saturday 18th October
Deep Dish – Rumors – Visionquest at Loveland ADE
One of the week’s biggest parties takes place on the Saturday. Deep Dish, Rumors and Visionquest team up for a mouthwatering affair. We’re tempted to advise you to stick with this one all night, but there is more happening around town….
Seth Troxler presents… Big Tittie Surprise Episode II: Dolphin Flight
Seth Troxler’s Big Tittie Surprise launched at Sonar earlier this year and now he’s back with Part 2… needless to say, this is bound to be one of the most outrageous and fun-filled parties of the week. BE THERE.
Breakfast Club
What better way to embellish the club experience than by having a nice little sit down breakfast before you hit the dancefloor? Breakfast Club provides exactly that, with an absolute KILLER line-up to accompany your eggs and bacon. Big!
Used + Abused: The Last Dance with Loco Dice
Loco Dice will no doubt leave Amsterdam feeling Used + Abused after him and his Desolat compadres get on the decks and give the city a heavy dose of techno vibes. Should be a cracker.
Dekmantel ADE – Ostgut Ton Showcase
Dekmantel and Ostgut Ton, two names that have a watertight reputation and two names that guarantee high quality music, performances and sound. So we don’t really need to say anything more really, do we? (COUGH, Marcel Dettmann, COUGH).
ADE Special: Secretsundaze x My Love Is Underground x Tomorrow Is Now, Kid
London crew Secretsundaze always pull it out of the bag and their link up with My Love Is Underground and Tomorrow Is Now, Kid should make for an excellent finale to the ADE week…
