After a series of raw and impactful releases, ELIXYR — the label founded and curated by techno visionary AIROD — takes a bold step forward with The Finest Serum, Vol. 1, a forward-thinking compilation set for release on 23rd May. This marks the first chapter in a new VA series that highlights the next wave of genre-defying talent in the electronic music world.
Founded with a singular vision to push the boundaries of techno, ELIXYR has quickly established itself as a beacon for powerful, emotive, and ever-evolving sounds. With The Finest Serum, Vol. 1, the label shifts into a new phase, spotlighting emerging artists who embody the same passion and ethos that AIROD himself carries as a force in the scene.
Having dominated stages across the globe, AIROD is known for his explosive and immersive sets, blending industrial techno with trance-infused emotion and futuristic energy. Through ELIXYR, he now turns the spotlight outward, amplifying the voices of up-and-coming producers who share his commitment to raw creativity and relentless experimentation.
The Finest Serum, Vol. 1 brings together five distinctive artists who each bring their own unique energy to the compilation. Handpicked by AIROD, each track offers a glimpse into the future of techno, highlighting powerful sound design, emotional depth, and boundary-pushing experimentation.
Across five meticulously curated tracks, The Finest Serum, Vol. 1 showcases a spectrum of sonic intensity and emotional nuance. Black Traffic opens the release with “Like U Love,” a vocal-heavy, bounce-laced anthem that contrasts vulnerability with commanding dancefloor punch. Portex follows with “Feel The Rush,” a high-energy collision of techno, trance, and acid that is made for the festival stage. Mitchell Berry & BR.ICKO’s collaboration, “Imitations,” fuses gritty rhythms with atmospheric depth, crafting a track that balances raw energy with a sense of emotional nuance and introspection.
MEZ offers a deep, contemplative moment with “Legacy,” a melancholic track laced with subtle tension and emotive textures. Rounding out the compilation is Gyko’s “Eternal,” a hypnotic and progressive closer where sweeping melodies and shadowy synth lines create a powerful sense of transcendence. Each contribution speaks to the label’s evolving sonic identity — bold, emotional, and reflective.
Beyond just a compilation, The Finest Serum, Vol. 1 serves as a statement of intent for ELIXYR’s next chapter — one that reinforces AIROD’s commitment to artistic freedom in the electronic music landscape.
