VNTM is a techno live act hailing from the suburbs of Amsterdam. The sound of VNTM is a blend between modern-day techno and contemporary progressive melodies. By the use of haunting chords, mysterious strings, and dark basses VNTM tries to take the listeners on a journey through his mind and aims to visualize a unique storyline during every performance. Dark, yet uplifting, mysterious, and elusive are all terms that come to mind when exploring the sound of the young dutchman.
He entered the scene with quality releases ‘Messages’, ‘Analog’, and ‘Time Traveler’. His production ‘Pinnacle’ was released on Oliver Koletzki’s label Stil Vor Talent, then came ‘Melodica’ on Days Like Nights and his ‘Be A Freak E.P.’ was signed to Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth On Acid. His ‘Wanderer at Night E.P.’ was released on Weiter Records and was soon followed by another one on Secret Cinema’s imprint Gem Records named ‘Enigma E.P.’
In 2019 he remixed Esoteric Circle’s ‘Romance’, Beswerda’s ‘Sisters Car’ and Eelke Kleijn’s album title track ‘Moments of Clarity’. With his fellow producer Tahko he released ‘Rave Culture’ on Second State and two solo projects; ‘Counterfeit’ on Fur Coat’s Oddity and ‘Echoist & Orange Skies’ on Stil Vor Talent.
In January 2020, he reached the #1 position of the Melodic House & Techno releases on Beatport with ‘Dark Knight EP’, the first release on his own imprint Apparition.
VNTM performed internationally at Afterlife (Tomorrowland & Printworks), Awakenings, Blackbox Festival Colombia, Goa, Mystic Garden, Straf_werk, Warehouse Elementenstraat, and alongside Tale of Us, Adriatique, Maceo Plex, Adam Beyer, Mind Against, Hunter/Game, Woo York, Stephan Bodzin and Sasha & Digweed.
With his tracks getting support from big names like Tale Of Us, Adam Beyer, Adriatique, Kevin de Vries, Karotte, Nicole Moudaber, Joris Voorn, and Sam Paganini, his future is looking bright.
