Armed with an innate musical flexibility, the sound of Alexander Aurel crosses a wide musical spectrum, transcending the percussive, the melodic and the damn right groovy.
His music has found homes on the likes of 8Bit, Heinz Music, Leena Music & Terminal M, and his DJing style can be described as “eye level,” frequently foraying out onto the dancefloor while playing. The early days of Alexander’s career saw him as long-term resident at Frankfurt’s U60311, along with a residency at Electric Grooves in West Frankfurt. Currently, he is resident at Karotte‘s As You Like It, as well as making appearances at Rave On Snow Festival, Watergate, Tanzhaus, Romy S, Harry Klein, Kater Blau, Distellery, and Thai Break, among others.
Now, after the success of his “Collapse” EP on Leena Music, Alexander Aurel is set to release his “Fall in Love” EP via 8Bit Records. Anticipating the release, and all the things to come, we welcome Alexander Aurel to our mix series!
