‘ Some collaborations make sense on paper. Some just make sense and you hear it the moment the track starts. “Confused” is Monkey Safari and Super Flu in the same room, doing what they both do best, and not getting in each other’s way.
“Confused” is deep, melodic, and built around a vocal performance that carries the full weight of the title. Not the kind of confused that’s looking for an answer the kind that’s comfortable not having one. There’s an emotional honesty to the track that sits right at the intersection of both acts: Super Flu’s layered, textural approach to melody and Monkey Safari’s instinct for tracks that move you before you understand why.
The production is patient. It earns its emotional moments instead of reaching for them early, and the result is a track that gets heavier the longer you sit with it.
The full album arrives in October 2026. “Confused” is the fourth single.
