Movement Torino Take Over DC10 This August
Continuing our coverage of what’s happening over on the White Island, we’re pleased to be able to share the news that Movement Torino (the Italian incarnation of the legendary Detroit-based festival) will be taking over DC10 with a series of five huge parties during August. The team behind the epic Italian festival have drafted in some of our industry’s most respected brands and artists to make a splash at the infamous club every Saturday during the coming month and we couldn’t be more excited, as we’re sure you are too.
The takeover series begins this Saturday, August 2, with a show from Better Lost Than Stupid aka Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Matthias Tanzmann. After witnessing these guys in action at Exit Festival in Serbia we’re very excited to see what they can bring to DC10.
A week after, Dixon brings his much hyped and very exclusive ‘Lost in A Moment’ series to Ibiza for the first time, featuring Innervisions family member Ame and Gerd Janson, imitable selector and Running Back label boss. Saturday 16th sees French trio Apollonia aka Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky all play in their much heralded one record at a time, 3 way back-to-back. On the 23d August, Art Department’s Social Experiment sees label regulars Eric Volta, Louie Fresco, Nitin and Objektivity boss Dennis Ferrer. The series is rounded off on the 30th August with Movement mainstay, Derrick May, who brings his Hi-Tek Soul showcase back to DC10 with Joe Claussel and Lollino as guests.
