Party Tips: August 8/10
The heat continues in London town, providing us with one of the best summers we’ve had for a long time. As the sun continues to beat down on the city, so too does the beat of the music throbbing out of every club and warehouse space across the capital. This weekend there are some great, great events occuring, so check out our guide below to find out what’s hot over the next few days…
Egg keep on churning out the quality line-ups and with their awesome sound system and excellent facilities on top of the amazing names they keep on pulling in, it’s always a worthwhile stop off. Miguel Campbell, Cristoph and Aidan Lavelle bring the heat this Friday.

Attack with Severino, Hilit Kolet and Bill Brewster
Here’s an unusual occurence, a decent house and disco night in the West End of London. Years ago there was an abundance of great electronic music nights in central London, but nowadays it’s largely commercial rubbish. Severino, Hilit Kolet and the mighty Bill Brewster supply the beats all night.

Mixmag Presents Apollonia
One of the weekend’s essential destinations, yet again, is Studio338. This week they host Mixmag’s awesome event featuring this month’s cover stars, Apollonia. The French trio have taken the globe by storm and head to London to celebrate their cover feature with a gang of their talented friends including Hold Youth and D’Julz. Should be a killer night.

London Warehouse Events don’t do things by halves and earlier this year they took electronic music into a new space – Tobacco Dock. Now they return for a huge daytime event at the same place, with a killer line-up including Damian Lazarus, Groove Armada, Dinky, Lee Foss and Anja Schneider. Large and in charge.

Open – Day Session 2
One of London’s hardest working duos, the Campell Brothers (Frazer and Anthony) bounce back after having their last event cancelled by the authorities before it had even gone ahead. Which means this Saturday’s party will be even more of a reason to let your hair down. The mighty mighty Nail, one of our very favourite artists, will be headlining along with Unai Trotti, Lee Arucci, Thanksmate and more…

Motek is a party that has been evolving and growing steadily over the past few years, it’s an event that is pretty much unmissable with great line-ups, excellent club spaces and always attracting a nice varied clientele too. Eric Volta, Lake People and Louie Fresco are just three names who’ll make this weekend’s event a smash no doubt.
