Detroit raised, Bristol-based Kalyde drops an EP packed with club-ready house bangers, alongside No Idea’s Original (NIO) founder Huxley with a remix.
Known for his releases on Avotre and Skint, Kalyde has escalated in the scene ever since his debut release late 2014. His arrival on NIO marks the label’s fourth release, with him joining a burgeoning roster which spans Pierre Codarin, Sage Caswell, J.Phlip and Huxley. For today’s premiere, Kalyde presents a twisted production layered with overdubs of distortion, arpeggiating synthesizers, and a mesmerizing male vocal – all in all painting the vibe – ‘Keep Me Hanging’.
