T.Raumschmiere’s ‘Augen Zu’ may be one of the most beautiful examples of German bass-heavy “Umta Umta” Techno.
With a few brilliant vocal lines put through machines, combined with a relentless sequencer it is a track that gets its magic from what happens between the bass drum-beats. The track comes off the two track package from Kompakt, “Speicher 104”, which also features Reinhard Voigt‘s savvy ‘Drei Millonen Kölsch’.
