Eastern Electrics made its existence on this summers UK festival scene one to remember, by revealing its full day line up that consists of 70 international superstars, through an exclusive game of Pac Man. The one day affair will once again be held in the grounds of the picturesque country mansion Hatfield House, on the 6th August. The festival is now in its third year, and the team behind it are no strangers to the UK underground rave scene.

Eastern Electrics was born out of a warehouse in Great Suffolk Street, London in an attempt to showcase the East End’s most cutting-edge DJ’s. Back in 2007 the team surfaced and held their firsts series of unforgettable parties, and since then their events have become more established as they continue to flourish, boasting a solid reputation for breaking boundaries and supplying London with some of the best names in house and techno, cementing themselves as the undisputed kings of the party.

This years festival will see Michigan born Seth Troxler take prime position as the main stage headliner. Seth is no stranger to the EE parties and has settled in comfortably as part of the FamilEE. Known for filling popular super clubs DC10 and Space to full capacity with ravers desperate to hear classic acid tracks and the latest in techno, it’s hard to not have big expectations of Seth turning up with an army of real fist pumping weapons. Joining him on the main stage will be his long time pals The Martinez Brothers, and with all three of them in such close proximity of one and other, it’s hard not to pray for one of their famous B2B sessions…

Bristol born DJ and Producer Eats Everything will also be in attendance. This guy has been fully kept on his toes this summer, with one of his most successful seasons on the White Isle to date, on the bill for Elrow at Space and a firm spot at the end of the runway, Paradise at DC10.

Do Not Sleep parties, do what it says on the tin, hours and hours of nothing but the best in house and techno, mixed by the Manchester DJ and Producer Darius Syrossian. This year Eastern Electrics will be kitted out with a full Do Not Sleep Arena. Along side Darius will be his good friend Bones, Nick Curly, Matthias Tanzmann, Huxley and Kydus. Co-founder of one of London’s most talked about underground parties, Art of Dark, Colin Chiddle, will finish off the main stage proceedings with some dark, deep and melodic sounds. This is also the man behind London’s HOME parties, when the Romanian sounds come to London, so expect a well travelled track-list.

Eastern Electrics 2016 will see Skream appear for the second time on the line up and with him he brings a carefully selected few, to form the Skreamizm crew. Hailing from Croydon back in the notorious Dubstep days Skream spends his time at present, creating mixes that cross pollinate between a wide spectrum of genres, focussing on leaving the Dubstep behind and moving onto the sounds of funk house and disco. Skream has invited the following to join him on the Big Top stage: Boddika, Derrick Carter, Grain (Artwork) and Waif and Strays.

Viva Warriors boss Steve Lawler will be supplying nothing but the best from one of Sankeys most talked about nights. With Steve being the head honcho of Viva Warriors he’s picked an exciting few to join him this time around too. He’ll be bringing Ceri along with him. Ceri honed her distinctive yet varied sound during 8 hour plus sets at her DJ residency for Jaded, London premier after hour’s event. She soon turned her hand to production too and quickly developed a dedicated fan-base of some of the scene’s most influential figureheads, including support from Richie Hawtin and Jamie Jones. She’s also been racking up an enviable list of club and festival appearances including DC10, Miami’s Treehouse, Off Sonar, Secret Garden Party and Burning Man. Along-side Steve and Ceri on the line up will also be Waff, Detlef, Denney and Cassy.

It’s clear that Eastern Electrics are willing to provide a day that caters around an exclusive variety of all different genres and Black Butter Records will be turning up to provide ravers with a taste of the drum and bass flavours, and that distinctive genre of bass house, from big selector Shy FX, Rinse FM’s Oneman to Radio 1’s Monki. Also joining them on the EE Wonderland stage will be: Mele, Bodhi, NVOY and Syv.

For those wanting to catch some old school classics, electronic dance music duo Groove Armada will be holding up the Switchyard. The pair are known for their subtly controlled sets, with an experience level that pushes them close to legendary, from the days when it all began back in the 1990’s. They’ve invited Waze and Odyssey, Kolsch, Breach, Felix Dickinson and Robert James to provide the stage with the best in electronic music throughout the day.

With a day jam packed full of 70 international superstars across 7 stages, it will be hard to break free from mesmerising sets on stage. But for Eastern Electrics the fun doesn’t stop at the music. They will be supplying fairground rides, street food, glitter girls, dress-up tents, hidden forest raves and much more on-site madness to throw you into another dimension at Hatfield House.
