Last month, Seth Troxler announced his partnership with LWE to take over London’s Tobacco Dock on August 8th to throw the mother of all one-day warehouse parties – prepare yourself for ‘Acid Future’.

Seth has invited some of the most exciting innovators of electronic music from across the world to play alongside him over 3 levels of the vast venue. Tobacco Dock will play host to the likes of The Martinez Brothers, Jackmaster, Skream, Craig Richards, Marshall Jefferson, Tom Trago, Harvard Bass and special guest DJ Harvey amongst many others who will be taking over the breath-taking venue for one day only.

The latest addition to join this sensational array of DJs at Acid Future will be Seth’s pop-up BBQ and cocktail restaurant – Smokey Tails. Located on the roof of the Tobacco Docks, with stunning views over East London, Seth and his team will be serving up a variety of signature slow cooked meats, BBQ delights and bespoke cocktails from noon till night. The menu includes pulled pork buns, chicken wings, ribs and sides, flavoured by Seth Troxler’s secret barbecue sauce, passed down from his grandfather and developed over the years.

Last summer the rooftop hosted Summer In The City, transforming the space into a quintessential British summer garden, complete with fresh green lawns, white picket fences and table football. This August the roof will be converted into Seth’s BBQ paradise, with the man himself manning the grills in-between his DJ sets, providing some much needed respite and fuel for full day of partying.

Born in 2013, Smokey Tails provided exquisite smoked meats, sublime salads, knock-out frozen cocktails, independent guest ales and mighty fine desserts to Hackney Wick all summer long. Since then Smokey Tails has toured around a number of festivals including Glastonbury, Wilderness, Lovebox and the Australian Future Music Tour and will be present at a number of other events this summer such as the Beat Hotel collaboration at Glastonbury.

Seth explains: ‘I grew up in Detroit and have been smoking and barbecuing in between spinning records and producing for years – my dream has always been to open a restaurant bar. Smokey Tails has finally given me the outlet for my other great passion that is cooking.’
