A Bold Statement from the Global Techno Underground imprint
The red-hot Taapion imprint unleashes the ninth instalment of its much-anticipated Fresh Blood series — out Friday 16th May 2025.
The ninth chapter of Taapion’s iconic Fresh Blood series has arrived — and it might just be the most explosive instalment yet. Carefully curated and battle-tested by label founder Shlømo, Fresh Blood Vol. 9 brings together an exciting line-up of rising talent, each pushing the boundaries of contemporary techno in their own distinct way. This five-track V/A is more than a snapshot of the underground — it’s a bold forecast of where the scene is headed.
From the Brazilian phonk-infused grooves of Royal’s “Brazil”, to the unrelenting, raw warehouse energy of Encoded Data & Dissonne’s “Drop That”, and the psy-trance-fueled chaos of Butler’s “Finish Him”, every track hits with precision, personality, and power.
Each track carries its own flavour, but together they form a unified arsenal spanning a wide yet cohesive spectrum of sounds. This V/A is built for late-night sets, dark rooms, and high-voltage dancefloors. Fresh Blood Vol. 9 is designed not just for play, but for impact. It reflects Taapion’s ongoing commitment to spotlighting emerging voices from across the globe, while maintaining the uncompromising, high-voltage aesthetic the label is known for.
More than a compilation, Fresh Blood Vol. 9 is a statement — one that celebrates the new wave of techno creators who are reshaping the sound of the underground, one track at a time.
