The newest signing to the Leeds imprint and 2020 Vision family, Whitesquare marks a shift in direction for both label and artist with \u2018Peaks.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whitesquare&#8217;s\u00a0releases have been championed by the likes of N<strong>oir, AFFKT, Phil Kieran, X-Press 2, Tocadisco, Wally Lopez, Shir Kahn<\/strong> &amp; more. Pulling in influences from further afield than your run-of-the-mill house track, <span class=\"il\">Whitesquare<\/span> is able to flex his ability to run off an array of sounds from the broad spectrum of house music. With releases on <strong>Skint, Noir<\/strong> and <strong>Ministry Of Sound<\/strong> under his built you can expect a lot more from this fellow.<\/p>\n<p>This release signifies more than a few beginnings; the start of summer, a change in production values for Whitesquare and a re-branding of the label. \u2018Peaks\u2019 pure and euphoric 4 tracks of melodic, deep and emotive house and techno effortlessly bridges these gaps.<\/p>\n<p>Both A-sides <strong>\u2018Someone Else\u2019<\/strong> and <strong>\u2018About The Past\u2019<\/strong> are characterised by a mellow lyricism that progresses into steady dance floor cuts. Whilst, B-side <strong>\u2018Abraxas\u2019<\/strong> and<strong> &#8216;Peaks&#8217;<\/strong> shift gear into deeper techno territory, containing a darker agenda, swirling into compelling compositions in their own right.<\/p>\n<p>The union between Whitesquare and 2020 Vision seems like a perfect fit and with more releases in the pipeline, this is certainly only the beginning. Today we are proud to premiere &#8216;Someone Else&#8217;.
