{"id":24182,"date":"2015-10-22T21:04:35","date_gmt":"2015-10-22T19:04:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.deephouseamsterdam.com\/?p=24182"},"modified":"2015-10-22T21:04:35","modified_gmt":"2015-10-22T19:04:35","slug":"help-refugees-and-dance-for-humanity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deephouseamsterdam.com\/london\/help-refugees-and-dance-for-humanity\/","title":{"rendered":"Help Refugees And Dance For Humanity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Over the last few months it&#8217;s been painful to watch the Syrian refugee crisis unfold and to watch certain countries treat innocent people, who have nowhere to go, like animals. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is a horrific journey these people are faced with crossing many borders to reach a safe place where they are not judged or treated inhumanly. Watching a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/iplayer\/episode\/b06g01kf\/panorama-europes-border-crisis-the-long-road\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Panorama Documentary<\/a> compounded the plight and suffering they go through and the reactions of some governments. In two weeks time on Sunday 25th October <strong>Stuart Geddes, Isis Salvaterra<\/strong> and <strong>Claus Voigtmann<\/strong> are organising a charity event. <\/p>\n<p><em>THE EVENT WILL BE HELPING<\/em> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HelpForRefugeesInMolyvos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Help for refugees in Molyvos (Starfish charity)<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; friend of the event <strong>Peggy Whitfield<\/strong> is on location working as a volunteer receiving the refugees and the situation is crucial, they are much in need of help. <\/p>\n<p>The line-up will include special guests as well (including <strong>Craig Richsrds<\/strong>), so come and party for a good cause.
