SIS is the exact opposite of the cardboard cut-out, squeaky clean radio DJ.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a dancefloor epiphany that led SIS to discover DJ culture and techno, and soon afterwards he was DJing in dark basement clubs in Frankfurt and Mannheim. SIS\u2019 yearning to express his wild, untapped thoughts drove him to music production in 2006, where he quickly honed a unique house music style influenced by raw musicality and flickers of his colourful past, global ancestry, and intense personality.<\/p>\n

Following a series of international club hits on Nick Curly<\/strong>\u2019s Mannheim label Cecille<\/strong>, which included 2007\u2019s vocal trip \u2018Nesrib\u2019<\/strong>, SIS became the talk of Berlin. But it was only after handing a wild, gypsy-folk influenced house track called \u2018Trompeta\u2019<\/strong> to Ricardo Villalobos<\/strong>, that SIS found himself in the company of greatness with Villalobos releasing it on his own boutique label Sei es Drum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Riding a wave of hype, SIS continued to grow and evolve into one of electronic music\u2019s most prolific producers, DJs, and live acts, signing to Cocoon<\/strong> DJ agency, launching his own label Cocolino<\/strong> (with his debut album release \u2018Dejame\u2019<\/strong>), and began hosting regular label nights at Watergate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On today’s exclusive premiere, SIS delivers a rolling remix of Love the Underground<\/a><\/strong>‘s Mikaela<\/strong> and Madrid’s Kike Medina<\/strong>‘s ‘Let’s Go’<\/strong> with sinister whirrs, bubbly aesthetics and heady undertones, taking the uncompromising energy of the original and transforming it into a rhythmic frenzy.<\/p>\n
