Ivan Iacobucci influences have origins in the hot notes of funk & Jazz, in the roots of afro-cuban music, in the Detroit techno, deephouse and in the new European waves of sound like the ones coming from Romania. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Since 2009, the Italian rudeboy has managed his label Smoke Joke Records<\/a> and been one of the most appreciated DJs in Italy and abroad, as well as being an acclaimed producer who is very much appreciated for his immersive sets. Over two decades of hard work and dedication to his craft Ivan has gained untainted reputation and widespread respect within the underground from true heads like Zip, and of course, the Apollonia boys.<\/p>\n

Today, we exclusively premiere \u2018Scris Frumos\u2019<\/strong> from Iacobucci’s forthcoming Apollonia<\/strong> EP “On”<\/strong>. The track encapsulates an ominous, tribal feeling with intricate effects trickling through every pore of its deep, dark exterior. Its atmospherics keep you intrigued, voices echo in the background and a few moments of softened chimes really intensify the already mysterious vibe.<\/p>\n
