Says Parker of the track,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cDilla has always been a huge influence of mine, the way he flipped samples and created grooves with that dusty, laid-back feel that still had tremendous energy. It\u2019s fair to say that without Dilla, Hollis Parker might not exist. His work with Q-Tip &amp; Ali Shaheed Muhammad as The Ummah as well really and truly changed my life. 10 years after his passing, I wanted to pay tribute to a man who passed too soon, and who continues to influence me on a daily basis.
