{"id":36620,"date":"2016-10-05T00:24:11","date_gmt":"2016-10-04T22:24:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.deephouseamsterdam.com\/london\/?p=36620"},"modified":"2016-10-05T00:24:11","modified_gmt":"2016-10-04T22:24:11","slug":"josh-butler-launches-label-project-origins-rcrds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deephouseamsterdam.com\/london\/josh-butler-launches-label-project-origins-rcrds\/","title":{"rendered":"Josh Butler Launches New Label Project With Marshall Jefferson &#038; Sant\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The new label project from UK&#8217;s Josh Butler, ORIGINS RCRDS, kicks off with a three part &#8220;Heroes of House&#8221; compilation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paying tribute to those who have paved the way, Josh Butler teams up with <strong>Marshall Jefferson<\/strong> and <strong>Sant\u00e9<\/strong> for two brand new productions on the label&#8217;s first edition, with subsequent editions coming from Todd Terry, Darius Syrossian, Kerri Chandler and wAFF.<\/p>\n<p>On the concept, Josh states:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;The Heroes of House Project has been one of the most rewarding projects to work on in my career so far. It\u2019s all about bridging the gap between different generations who love house music. It\u2019s been a huge honour for me to work in the studio with some of the genre\u2019s originators.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To complement the music, illustrator <strong>Davi Comodo<\/strong>has also created Superhero portraits of each artist releasing on the label.
