After a hiatus, the event is back with a bang on 19th August. Known for their cracking parties and free flowing, no attitude atmosphere, the team are thrilled to return to their favourite East End venue in Brick Lane. It’s all going down at their beloved 93 Feet East and finds favourites No Artificial Colours, Jesse James, and residents Liam Webb and Jamie Ward all lining up.

This venue is where the FEAST family came together and created new friendships as well as magical party vibes, so this return will be much of the same. Heading it all up are No Artificial Colours, who had absolutely no problems fitting in with the FEAST vibe on previous occasions and will be a sure bet to get that d&b audio sound system rocking once again. Having released on essential labels like Kerri Chandler’s MadTech and the unstoppable PMR they are right at the top of their game.

As well as that, Connected‘s head honcho DJ Jesse James is back to serve up more of his infectious tech house treats, while alongside him will be Feast residents supplying the beats and good atmosphere for which they renowned and loved.
Here is Jamie to find out more…

“The party was always a meeting ground for people before heading out to their chosen events…”

Please introduce yourself, what is your role at FEAST and why are you back? Why now?
The party is run by resident DJs Liam Webb and Jamie Ward. We took time out for various reasons but have been looking to start things up again for a while. People never stopped asking us when we’d be doing something again at 93 Feet East. After a chat with the venue we got a date booked in and the response so far has been great.

What makes the party special, popular, unique, do you think?
The party was always a meeting ground for people before heading out to their chosen events that night. We ran from 1pm-1am so it was the perfect place to start. The venue has a great sound system and really nice courtyard for when the sun is out. There aren’t many venues like it left in London. We were always passionate about putting on a good event,we made lot’s of friends along the way and that was always reflected in the vibe.

Will there be more regular parties after this one or is it just a one-off?
Yes due to the response we have secured a monthly residency there starting from October.

How hard is it to promote and standout in London these days?
It’s very difficult to stand out as an event in London but we’ll be going down a different route to most other parties once our residency starts in October. We’ll be going back to our roots so to speak.

What is FEAST all about for those who don’t know, what your vibe, your niche, your crowd?
The crowd was what made Feast. They were always up for a good dance. Add that to a quality venue/music/sound system and you’ve got most of the ingredients for a great party.

Why daytime? Does dance music work as well in the light?
We always used to like getting out as early as possible so when we first thought to do an event a day party instantly sprang to mind. It was at the time parties like Lost Souls and Rainbow Value were running so we were constantly in the Brick Lane area. 93 Feet East was the perfect venue for us.

What were some of the best memories from the parties over the years?
One of our favourite parties was when we had Lee Foss and MANIK NYC play. The venue reached capacity after about an hour and there was a huge queue down the road. The atmosphere that day was electric.

Tell us about the guests you have for August – are they personal favourites? Big ticket sellers? Friends?
We have No Artificial Colours joining us in August. They have a great chemistry on the decks and always do the business. They’ve made some great music over the years as well, their tracks always got a great reaction on the dance floor!!

And the sound system – what is it? Why is it a good one? Give us some juicy details.
The sound at 93 Feet East is one of the best in London for us. d&b Audio in the pink bar where we start things out, it’s such a lovely system to play on, crisp, clean and it absolutely thumps!!. In the main room they have the Funktion One, slightly older model but it still sounds great!!

What are you most excited about for this return party?
All the old faces coming down as well as lots of new ones. This is just the start.

19 August | FEAST | Tickets | 93 Feet East

Introducing Jamie Ward, one of the guys behind long standing East London Party, FEAST.
