Nihil Young is rising once again out of Italy, this time he partnered up with Wolf Story and Gathier for a single named \u201cAlign\u201d. The single is forthcoming on a well-known Dutch label, Bmkltsch Rcrds<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Bmkltsch Rcrds<\/em>\u00a0has been very consistent over the years thanks to its head boss Mike Mago<\/strong><\/a>, releasing over 80 EPs which is a quite a huge accomplishment looking at all the competition out there. What strikes really is the open mind from Mike as he can get more Housey artists or more nu-disco tunes at times and everything in between but always with a solid groove.<\/p>\n

Nihil has had his best year as a producer with releases on Toolroom, Yoshitoshi<\/em>, and KMS<\/em>. In addition, he delivered some massive dance floor bombs on his own label Frequenza,<\/em> we premiered one last year named “My Friend”<\/a>.<\/strong> – Wolf Story<\/a><\/strong> and Gathier<\/a><\/strong> both are part of Frequenza records too.<\/p>\n

Back to our current \u201cAlign\u201d tune here, it features the classic signature sounds from Nihil Young. Some uplifting synths, psychedelic Fx, hypnotizing pads, and a warm bassline. You will hear a nice piano riff at the break as well and a trippy arpeggio later on. We chose to premiere the dub edit, but the vocal edit is pretty decent too.<\/p>\n

We reached out to Nihil to find out the vocals actually come from a singer based in Tennessee! It is the same vocalist, Nathan Brumley<\/strong> from which Nihil released his infamous \u201cVertical Skylines\u201d<\/em> which was a huge success a couple of years back on Toolroom. When an Italian aligns himself with a vocalist in the USA and release music on a Dutch label, the result is heart whelming.<\/p>\n
