I am responsible of all artists contracts, requirements and logistical needs in order to ensure the smoothest running of all performances and events. I am their main point of contact during their stay.

So tell us how you got the job at EGG LDN and what you were doing before that?
I was working as an event manager at Blue Cube Promotions – promoters of DTPM @ Fabric and Fiction @ The Cross for over a decade.
I had the chance to meet Egg’s owner Laurence Malice in 2004 – Laurence was the brainchild together with Lee Freeman of DTPM, conceived as an after party to Laurence’s all night bender TRADE. When DTPM came to an end Laurence offered me a job at Egg.

What’s the best aspect of your job?
The music, the artists, the mix of people I meet at every event. Is is very dynamic and continually evolving. I really wanted to be part of this industry and I am pleased I made it happen

Was there anyone who you found it particularly difficult to win over?
I wouldn’t say anyone in particular. In its 11 years of operations the club had its high and lows and since the internal and external restructuring let’s say, Egg had to win its reputation back as one of the leaders in London’s clubbing.

Is there anyone who you felt particularly star struck by?
I enjoy every artist we host. Every one is very professional, friendly and believing in what they do.

Who would you class as your favourite DJs to look after? I am supported by a nice bunch of people – our green room “regulars” – so all our guests have always a great time partying with Egg’s family. Recently I have listened great sets from Danny Tenaglia, Lee Foss, Yousef, Nicole Moudaber and Cristian Varela.

In every club, the green room is always notorious for naughty antics, what’s the most entertaining incident you’ve witnessed so far?
What happens at Egg stays at Egg. You are welcome to join the party with us any time.

What advice would you give to someone who might be thinking about following in your footsteps?
It’s not the easiest job and can be stressful sometimes. You really need to love music, the nightlife and its culture and be a night owl yourself. Accept any position within a venue/event organization if you want to step into this business. I started with a three month internship when I decided to change my career ten years ago.

What are your hopes and plans for the future?
I look forward to see the venue building extensions finished.
