Ruede Hagelstein is a German producer, singer, songwriter, and DJ. He started his DJ career in the late<\/strong>\u00a0nineties, earned an Audio Engineer Degree at the SAE Institute and became a resident DJ at Watergate, one of Berlin’s most popular clubs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was raised in the suburbs of Berlin<\/strong> and later moved to the capital at the age of 20. He sang in a choir,
\ntortured his guitar, and dreamed of having a rock star career. Instead, he started his DJ career in the
\nlate nineties at the renowned Berlin club Tresor<\/strong>. While his DJing career progressed, Ruede was also an
\neditor for various nightlife and music magazines: Groove Magazin, FLYER Magazin, PRINZ Magazin<\/strong>. His time spent as an editor brought him closer to the heart of the dance music scene, which led him to co-found restrealitaet.de – a Berlin-based web platform covering the local underground Techno scene.<\/p>\n

In 2006, Ruede earned an Audio Engineer Degree at the SAE Institute<\/strong> and became a resident DJ at
\nWatergate<\/strong>, one of Berlin’s most popular clubs. The first tracks and Remixes Ruede produced got signed
\nby big labels such as Kitsune, Eskimo and Cocoon<\/strong>. He now has numerous releases that are housed on
\nlabels like Watergate Records, Upon You, Bedrock and Souvenir<\/strong>. He is also widely known for his
\nremixing skills, which have been requested by powerhouse record labels like Get Physical Music<\/strong>
\n(Germany), Bedrock (UK), Culprit (US), Suara (Spain)<\/strong>. Parallel to his electronic music career, Ruede has formed an indie-electronica band called \u201cRuede Hagelstein & The Noblettes\u201d<\/strong><\/em> and founded his own mixing studio in Berlin, where he works with diverse artists like the Adana Twins, Move D, Tiefschwarz<\/strong>, and many more…<\/p>\n

In his latest remix for Anjunadeep<\/strong>, Ruede Hagelstein builds on Yotto<\/strong>\u2019s original brooding arrangement
\nwith his \u2018Rise Again\u2019 remix<\/strong>, incorporating mechanized vocoders atop a menacing bassline.<\/p>\n
