Musumeci is a musical project by Mauro Di Martino, Sicilian DJ, and producer since the late 80s. After\u00a0<\/strong>two decades of releasing music under several aliases, Mauro merged into Musumeci\u2019s alter ego\u00a0<\/strong>in 2009. He is also a member of Human Machine and the owner of Engrave Ltd, Multinotes Recordings & Buttress Records.\u00a0Constantly in demand as a producer and remixer, his music appears on labels like Bedrock, Connaisseur, Compost Black Label, Diynamic Music, Endless, Innervisions, Kompakt &\u00a0<\/strong>Watergate.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2015 Bedrock<\/strong> asked Musumeci to remix Nick Warren & Guy Mantzur\u2019s \u2018Sad Robot\u2019<\/em> which hit\u00a0N\u00b05 on Beatport Techno Chart. In that same year, he also hit the N\u00b01 position on Beatport Electronic Music Chart twice with his remix of Patrick Chardronnet\u2019s classic \u2018All I Got\u2019<\/em> on Connaisseur Recordings<\/strong> and\u00a0with the Musumeci & Lehar remix of Ost & Kjex\u2019s anthem \u2018Easy\u2019<\/em> on Diynamic Music<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2016 he made his debut with side project ‘Human Machine’<\/strong>, delivering two eps, \u2018146′ on<\/em>
\n Connaisseur Recordings<\/strong> and \u2018The Mule\u2019 on Exit Strategy<\/strong><\/em>, as well as their track \u2018Africa\u2019<\/em> on<\/em>
\nDiynamic Music<\/strong><\/em>. All those tracks are among the 100 most played tracks of the year on Resident
\nAdvisor. In 2017, Musumeci debuted on Solomun\u2019s Diynamic<\/strong> Music with the ep \u201cMood Organs\u201d<\/em>. The release reached N7 on Beatport overall sales and opened doors of international clubs and festivals\u00a0scene for him.<\/p>\n

In 2018, Penfield Setting and Kamakura was taken from the ominous debut ep on Bedrock<\/strong>,
\nreached on top of Beatport Progressive Chart (Respectively N1 & N3) while Musumeci & Phunkadelica\u2019s<\/strong> \u2019Babilonia\u2019<\/em> on Innervisions<\/strong> reached the peak of Beatport Deep House Chart remaining N\u00b01 for 5 weeks in a row.<\/p>\n

On July 15th of this year, ‘Signature’<\/em>, a double ep containing 6 tracks (three for each artist) showcasing Musumeci’s and Lehar\u2019s distinctive sound will be released on their label Multinotes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Last year, along with his partner Lehar, he established his own night MUSE<\/strong>; a concept event where Musumeci & Lehar invite DJs and producers that inspire the pair thanks to their unique sound and vision in electronic music. Born as an itinerary event, in 2019 Muse by Lehar & Musumeci<\/strong><\/a> found its summer residency at Heart, Ibiza<\/strong> where the party takes place every first Tuesday of the month<\/strong>, from June to October.<\/strong> The opening event will take place on Jun 4th with \u00c2me Live, Jennifer Cardini, Phunkadelica and Musumeci b2b Lehar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can also find both Musumeci and Lehar<\/strong> playing at Diynamic Festival in Amsterdam<\/strong> this June 1st alongside Solomun, Tale of Us, Adriatique, Gerd Janson, Mano Le Tough<\/strong> and many others.
