The last 6 months have seen this artist making waves across the world with his signature slow-burning downtempo electronica sounds infused with dub and world music all laced with his characteristic chugging basslines. Following on from his debut \u2018Weigh Up\u2019 EP on <strong>Beat &amp; Path<\/strong>, <strong>Jamie Stevens<\/strong> steps up the plate and delivers two outstanding remixes, the first being the <em>\u2018In Excess\u2019<\/em> remix that touches on his early roots from the 3 piece live electronic group Infusion. A mechanical, almost machine-like style percussion is laid over a bass groove, laced with an infectious1980s INXS-style snare hit. On the second version, Jamie takes the listener on a drummer\u2019s dream ride with carefully programmed drums, shakers, tambourines, and hats.
