As one of the latest additions of the esteemed Kompakt family, Anii (Ania Iwinska) is a woman on a mission. After leaving her native Poland in the late 2000s, Anii moved to London where her reputation for producing and playing high-quality melodic techno soon spread throughout the underground.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anii<\/strong> graduated from world-renowned music school Point Black<\/strong> in 2015 and began to make waves on the club scene. She set up her own studio in 2015 and has spent a ridiculous amount of time there working, producing, refining, planning and pushing herself to be the best she can be. The result has been a series of releases with a range of highly-respected labels such as Polymath, Selador, Parquet<\/em> and, most recently, Kompakt<\/em> \u2013 a legendary outfit which Anii became part of in 2017 when she was invited by Michael Mayer<\/strong> to join the Kompakt<\/strong> team.<\/p>\n

Within months her first release \u2018Cyganka\u2019<\/em> was named Tune Of The Month in Mixmag<\/strong>, with support from across the techno fraternity and she began to travel across Europe from Off Sonar to Morocco, Amsterdam and her hometown London to deliver her unique brand of melody-driven techno.<\/p>\n

In July Anii’s label, ‘ANIITIME’<\/strong> in collaboration with Kompakt will be launched. And this Friday her new single<\/a> with Third Son<\/strong> will be released on Terr’s Clash Lion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With a work rate that is borderline obsessive, Anii<\/strong> is a true feminine powerhouse in a male-dominated world. Her mix for us in the form of DHA AM Mix #266 is here and it’s banging.<\/p>\n
