He takes you on a journey through the deepest parts of the techno spectrum and translates\u00a0infinite-depth into audible sounds right from the off here. Spine-tingling releases filled with musical\u00a0character and storytelling emotions.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nHe is an artist who has risen above the crowd in quick time, has his own night at Belgian techno\u00a0temple <strong>Fuse<\/strong> and played four times at <strong>Tomorrowland<\/strong> (of which one is hosting his own stage and\u00a0the other opening the well-known Afterlife stage). He has played all over from Beirut to Amsterdam\u00a0and also received the <strong>Red Bull Elektropedia Award<\/strong> for <strong>Most Promising Artist<\/strong>. This new remix for the\u00a0Belgian band <strong>Portland<\/strong> proves why.<\/p>\n<p>The remix is forthcoming August 7th on <strong>PIAS<\/strong> \u2014 Portland\u2019s home base where they released the\u00a0original single. \u2018Expectations\u2019 was one of the results of their most recent album, an emotional, dreamy and subtle piece\u00a0of harmonic prose, whose greatest strength is the harmonies and interaction between front duo\u00a0Jente Pironet and Sarah Pepels. The original single got picked up on radio in Flanders, club shows sold out quickly and an invitation to play the two main Belgian summer festivals <strong>Rock Werchter<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Pukkelpop<\/strong> festivals followed.<\/p>\n<p>Curious to see the path this remix will bring forth.
