Three-day music conference aims to accelerate the music industry in the region and beyond.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Music professionals and fans from across the region can purchase their tickets for\u00a0MDLBEAST\u2019<\/b>s music conference,\u00a0XP<\/b>. The three-day event with a conference & nightlife aspect will take place in Riyadh from 13th \u2013 15th<\/b>\u00a0December\u00a0<\/b>and is set to become the most forward-thinking gathering of music leaders in the region.<\/div>\n

Tickets for the \u2018Day Xperience\u2019<\/b><\/i>, which includes access to the conference for all three days, are available for 1,950 SAR and increase to 3,450 SAR for the\u00a0\u2018Full Xperience\u2019<\/i>\u00a0ticket, offering three-day conference access plus entry to the evening parties and events. A\u00a0\u2018Lite Xperience\u2019<\/i>\u00a0ticket is available for 150 SAR and includes access for one day between the hours of 4pm to midnight. For guests attending the evening events only, the \u2018Night Xperience\u2019\u00a0<\/i>ticket costs 750 SAR for one night, increasing to 1,750 SAR for all three nights.<\/div>\n

XP<\/b>\u00a0is set to welcome leading international and regional music industry\u00a0executives, policy makers, artists and creatives<\/b>\u00a0to participate in\u00a0workshops, panel discussions<\/b>\u00a0and roundtables as they come together in building the future for the region’s music industry.<\/div>\n

XP programme director,\u00a0Nada Alhelabi\u00a0<\/b>commented, \u201cIt\u2019s fair to say that we are entering the most exciting time for the music industry in the Middle East, ever. The opportunity is enormous, the potential is being unlocked, and what we need is a moment for the industry to come together to seize this chance with both hands, XP is that moment<\/i>\u2019<\/i>‘.<\/i><\/div>\n

She added, \u201cWe have built a very special program around the four key pillars; talent, the scene, policy, and social impact. We\u2019re going to cover every corner of the industry with real outcomes and actions which will have a genuine and positive impact in the regional music industry.\u201d<\/i><\/div>\n

Programming for XP will come under four pillars:\u00a0Talent and Development<\/i><\/b>;\u00a0<\/i>Inspire and Promote<\/i><\/b>;\u00a0<\/i>Data, Policy & Advocacy<\/i><\/b>; and\u00a0<\/i>Social Purpose<\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/i>\u2013 with each pillar containing carefully curated panel discussions and networking opportunities.<\/div>\n

Topics under\u00a0Talent and Development<\/b>\u00a0will range from \u2018Amplifying Music Futures – What does this new generation of creatives need to thrive?<\/i>\u2019, where the focus will be on laying down the ingredients for success in the industry. Another topic of discussion is titled\u00a0\u2018It\u2019s a real job, mama\u2019,<\/i>\u00a0which will look at how, currently, careers in the creative industries are limited for many young people in the region, and what can be done to change it.<\/div>\n

Inspire and Promote<\/b>\u00a0<\/i>topics will range from\u00a0\u2018Supercharging Music Tourism – Creating a sustainable new economy in KSA\u2019<\/i>\u00a0which will explore the changing landscape of the sharing economy, and the companies striving to make access to events and entertainment easier. A fishbowl session titled \u2018How music can put a city on the global map\u2019<\/i>\u00a0will outline best practices in placemaking for music venues and festival sites.<\/div>\n

\u2018Empowering Women in Music\u2019\u00a0<\/i>will be a hot topic under\u00a0Data, Policy and Advocacy<\/b>, as XP explores the advantages of female representation and having a diverse workforce. Another discussion under the same umbrella will be\u00a0\u2018The social and economic impact of the music industry on society\u2019,\u00a0<\/i>which looks at the significant ROI music has on cities across the world.<\/div>\n

Social Impact<\/b>\u00a0programming will look at subjects which extend the positive reach of music culture into communities. This takes many forms with \u2018Green events, green planet\u2019,\u00a0<\/i>one example event which will\u00a0<\/i>showcase the innovative power and progressive thinking within the events industry.<\/div>\n
