All roads lead to Tulum, Mexico, from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 April 2022, where the biggest Drum ‘n’ Bass artist line-up that North & South America has ever seen will assemble itself for the LOCUS<\/strong> festival, the first event of its kind for bass heads in a place where House and Techno reign supreme.<\/p>\n

LOCUS Tulum 2022 is a 4-day Drum \u2018n\u2019 Bass experience in paradise, surrounded by sunbeds and palm trees at Tulum\u2019s iconic Mia Beach Club from Thursday to Saturday, with the Sunday night taking place at an undisclosed location deep into the early hours of Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Festivities kick off with Brazilian Drum ‘n’ Bass legend <\/span>DJ Marky<\/span>, <\/span>DBridge<\/span><\/strong> of Exit Records and Bad Company fame, masters of Autonomic soundscapes <\/span>Instra:mental<\/span><\/strong>, and purveyor of dub vibes <\/span>Breakage<\/span><\/strong>, who are joined by one of the UK\u2019s rising stars, <\/span>Harriet Jaxxon<\/span>, and <\/span>Rohaan<\/span>, one of the hottest producer talents in the scene today, alongside Mexican stalwarts <\/span>Isaac Maya<\/span><\/strong> and <\/span>Viewer<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

LOCUS is the landmark event for electronic music enthusiasts in North and South America to journey to Mexico and witness history in the making, all within the stunning backdrops of Tulum, with a line-up that represents the past, present, and future of Drum ‘n’ Bass.<\/p>\n

Day 2 brings the godfathers of Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass, Fabio & Grooverider<\/strong>, hot off the incredible success of their recent Outlook Orchestra performance, complemented by the likes of Dub Phizix & Strategy<\/strong>, who will bring their distinct Mancunian DnB flavors; Submotive<\/strong>, who\u2019s been making waves with his new Subjective collaboration with Goldie; Kolya, Dave Owen<\/strong>, NYC\u2019s DJ Strife<\/strong>, and homegrown Mexican DnB talent, Mukiyare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Day 3 gets even more ridiculous with a rare set from Hospital Records boss, London Elektricity<\/strong>; an exclusive Black Science Labs set from TeeBee<\/strong> in his first solo set in almost a decade; the champions of hyper-coloured Liquid Drum ‘n’ Bass, Etherwood<\/strong> and Technimatic<\/strong>; a live PA from PAV4N<\/strong> of Foreign Beggars fame; 1985 Music\u2019s French Drum ‘n’ Bass dons Visages<\/strong>; Submorphics<\/strong>; and Metalheadz wonderkid Kid<\/strong> Drama<\/strong>, all set to bring their magic to the beach.<\/p>\n

Day 4, which will be held at an undisclosed location, will see Workforce<\/strong>, who was a part of the eclectic Spectrasoul duo; Commix<\/strong>, who has been responsible for making some of the biggest tunes in Drum ‘n’ Bass; the maestro of dark DnB arts, Loxy<\/strong>; the great purveyor of intelligent and deep DnB, Klute<\/strong>; Swedish virtuoso Seba<\/strong>; Critical Music\u2019s Sam Binga<\/strong>; and one of America\u2019s finest duos, Quadrant & Iris<\/strong>, slated to lure the deepest, grittiest and grimiest bass frequencies into Tulum to close the festival in style.<\/p>\n

This epic line up will be supported by some of the genre\u2019s most treasured hosts like Degs<\/strong>, Dynamite MC<\/strong>, Jakes<\/strong>, MC Dino<\/strong>, MC Fava<\/strong>, MC GQ<\/strong>, MC LowQui<\/strong>, SP:MC<\/strong>, and Stamina MC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Over the years, bass music festivals like Outlook and Hospitality On The Beach have taken the initiative of hosting grand line-ups around the best waterfronts in Europe and, thanks to its meticulously curated experience, LOCUS is now all set to bring this experience to North & South America for the first time ever.<\/p>\n
