Access The Festival had a superb second edition this past weekend and we were there to witness it.<\/p>\n

The festival is an open-air, sun kissed summer sizzler that takes place in beautiful British countryside in Sherbourne Park in Warwick. Gerd Janson, Octo Octa b2b Saoirse, Jeremy Underground, CC: Disco, Dam Swindle, Crazy P Soundsystem, DJOKO b2b Harrison BDP, Byron The Aquarius b2b Jamie 3:26, Raw Silk and many more all played great sets with superb quality light and sound making it a memorable day out.<\/p>\n

Amongst the many fine sets, these were our favourites.<\/p>\n

DJ Boring<\/h3>\n

DJ Boring emerged on a wave of lo-fi sounds hype but has since proven he is about so much more. He makes nice authentic house with his own rich melodies up top and well crafted hooks that make for perfect peak time, downtime and everything in between. He had the crowd eating out the palm of his hand.<\/p>\n

Mathame<\/h3>\n

This Italian pair is right at the forefront of the melodic techno scene. They have a classy and stylish sound that is well designed and rich in emotive chords as well as silky grooves. They dipped deep into it as well as some other house and tech vibes and really made a mark.<\/p>\n

PBR Streetgang<\/h3>\n

This dup are masters of serving up a perfect mix of house and disco. They known how to get a party going but never rely on obvious sounds with colourful synths and big drums next to classics and plenty of gems you don’t know. It was another superb trip from the pari.<\/p>\n

Dan Shake<\/h3>\n

Da is one of the breakout artists recent years. He had a big debut on Moodymann’s label that got his name out there and since then has mixed up a fine array of house, with dusty drums, great samples and real heart and soul. That is just what he offered up this weekend.<\/p>\n

Demuja<\/h3>\n

Another one of our favourite sets was from this Austrian man. He dug deep and dropped plenty of curveballs from deep disco, raw house and soul next to some much love jams all with plenty of dexterity and foresight. The energy never dipped and he left everyone with a big smile on their face. Cant fault that can you.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
