This year the good people behind Electric Woodlands expanded the event to a two day camper. That means there was more people, more music, more fun to be had just half an hour outside London set deep in the beautiful and mystic forests of Bygrave Woods, Newnham.<\/p>\n

The production was out of this world with mega lights and visuals and powerful sound systems. Each of the three stages all had their own feels, and when night fall the classy lights and masters added real charm to the forested backdrop. The people too were happy and smiling from the moment we arrived. It was all easy to get around, with great access to drinks and toilets meaning we were all free to focus on the dancing.<\/p>\n

And dance we did to all manner of killer sets. Producer, singer, songwriter, and visual artist SUAT who you will know from carrying his live-streaming gear all round the world while DJing live did a fine set. He was popular with the crowd and his slick minimal sounds were just the tonic.<\/p>\n

A more high energy selection came from Paul Woolford who brought a big bag of crowd-pleasing tricks and served them up in his own inimitable way. Blake was also a standout. Her on point mix of house, garages, breaks and more was a real rollercoaster with plenty of her own tunes making for highlights.<\/p>\n

Also playing was a fresh mix of names from drum & bass such as Sigala, Friction & Linguistics, Annie Mac, Shy FX, Wilkinson and more from bass, garage and the like including Flava D who was on fine form. Without noise restrictions because of the location it was easy to dance non stop at Electric Woodlands and we can’t wait for next year already.<\/p>\n
