As 2025 unfolds, MELODIC (IL)<\/em> & No Result<\/em> are already making waves with fresh releases and big plans for the year ahead. With a brand-new EP leading the charge and more music in the pipeline, their journey is gaining serious momentum. In this interview, the duo discusses their creative process, the magic behind their collaboration, and the inspirations that drive their sound. From Ibiza club nights to studio sessions filled with endless experimentation, they break down what makes their partnership click\u2014and what fans can expect next.<\/p>\n

How has 2025 been for you so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n

2025 has started off great for us with a lot of new music on the way. This EP is the first of several that are set to be released this year.<\/p>\n

When did you guys first hook up and start working together, and what sparked the collaboration?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To be honest, we\u2019ve known each other for quite a while, back during the COVID period. Alon, who is actually Melodic, was a very successful DJ in Israel, and we started DJing and producing music. We met at one of the parties where Alon was DJing, and we clicked pretty quickly. From there, working on music together was just a short step. Today we\u2019re already on our second EP together and we\u2019re sure we\u2019ll release more in the future.<\/p>\n

What makes your partnership work so well? Why do you think there\u2019s such a strong creative kinship between you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

What makes our collaboration so good is that we are very open to ideas and are always looking for ways to improve and progress together. Even if it means changing the track completely, just because we thought of a new idea.<\/p>\n

How much different do you sound when you’re working solo as opposed to working together in the studio?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is always a difference. When you work alone, there are no other opinions, and sometimes that can be great. But sometimes, you can get stuck on a track for a long time because you either don\u2019t have an idea or you hit a creative block. When you\u2019re working as a duo in the studio, those blocks are much easier to overcome.<\/p>\n

Who did what in the studio for the new tunes on LA-based Reve Music? Do you both have set roles, or do you jump between them?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The truth is, we do everything together. There are no defined roles, and that\u2019s what\u2019s fun about it. Alon can sit for hours on the software, and suddenly it\u2019s me (Ayal) or Yoni, and it\u2019s very dynamic and fun.<\/p>\n

What inspired the tracks? Were they written with a particular club, moment of the night, or vibe in mind?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our inspiration comes mainly from the house world, especially from the clubs in Ibiza, where we spent last summer and got a lot of inspiration. The scene there is insane.<\/p>\n
