Marshall Creates The Ultimate Music Lover’s Smartphone
Textured to its classic guitar amp style and retro designed, Marshall has unveiled a new Android-based smartphone “London” specifically aimed at music lovers.
All about the music, with practical specifications including a 4.7-inch, 720p display, 2GB of RAM, a 2500 mAh (removable) battery, a Snapdragon 410 processor, 16GB of storage, and an 8-megapixel camera, the London’s music features consist of two speakers, two headphone jacks, global equaliser and dedicated soundcard for processing audio. Additionally, the phone will be able to play uncompressed formats (i.e. FLAC), which Marshall claims will make even MP3 sound quality better.
Aimed primarily at the listening experience, the phone also comes with a smattering of creative tools, including dual microphones and a four-track recording app called Loopstack. For the DJs out there, though not considered a DJ company, the phone also comes equipped with its own DJ app.
Billed by Marshall as the “loudest phone on Earth,” the London will be ready for delivery on 21 August with expected retail price to be around $585/£375.
