The Holosound style has been characterized as as “warm, driving tech-house with a pinch of electro”, but that truly only tells part of the story. New York-based Holosound’s rich, immersive sound creates a vibe which is as well-suited for urban summer rooftops as it is for gritty late-night caverns and club experiences.

Holosound started out as a two-man operation consisting of Alex Fish and Noah Becker, who in 2003 met on the beaches of Miami at the Winter Music conference. They decided to team up to bring their unique backgrounds in house music together to form something distinct and viable to the current state of dance music. In 2008, however, the two parted as friends and went their own way, with Alex following through with Holosound. Alex also runs the US dev. department at Pulse Radio next to his DJ/producer efforts by the way (we’re now wondering if he has any time to sleep..).

In his productions, Alex reaches beyond the conformism and limitations of genre-based stereotypes and draws upon a multitude of musical influences to create his own distinctive sound—winding and weaving seductive melodic landscapes and warm, pulsing basslines with the crisper, edgier percussive elements found within the depths of New York’s tech-inspired underground. Ever since its inception in 2003 to this date Holosound has a clear cut reputation for quality and consistency, permeating many corners of the dance-music scene, making stops in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Panama, Colombia, Moscow, Mexico, the States (including a gig at Robot Heart, Burning Man) and of course not missing the European hotspots. His music has grabbed the attention of not just club-goers, but also of DJ colleagues like Luke Fair, Satoshi Tomeii, Josh Wink, SOS, Kaskade, Audiofly, Desyn Masiello and many others.

His mix is a rich mixture of deep tunes and uplifting melodies, perfect for zoning out at home, or to set the right tone at your next pre-party.
