Originally from Los Angeles, Michael Tello (PillowTalk) and Ray Zuniga, aka Signal Flow, migrated north to San Francisco and now live bi-coastal in NYC and Los Angeles allowing the opportunity to build a strong music network and expand their ‘Touch Of Class Records’ family worldwide. The DJ duo have cooked up a lush mixtape full of alluring grooves and cool vibes.
In between their busy touring schedules, Signal Flow are spending of their time in their new Brooklyn studio working on forthcoming releases that will be dropping throughout the year. Their most recent material, a remix of Lonely Boy’s ‘Somewhere Else’ on Culprit, showcased their collaborative skills together with Greg Paulus. Signal Flow have also collaborated with disCerN (aka Jonny Cruz and Silky) on a single titled ‘Coarse Language’ forthcoming on My Favorite Robot Records’ “Crossing Wires” CD mix compilation this Summer. The next Signal Flow EP ‘All Alone’ will be released on Leftroom.
As said, next to their DJ/producer endeavors, the boys are also the head of “Touch Of Class Records”, for which they have carefully selected a full release schedule for 2014 that promises plenty of auditory pleasures. The fourth and next release of the imprint, “Once Upon A Time” features a two-part original production from Navid Izadi along with remixes by Tone Of Arc, Kenneth Scott and Signal Flow (out now), followed by a juicy summer EP release by Tone Of Arc. At this year’s annual post-BPM “Midnight in Tulum” party, Touch of Class introduced the duo South of Chihuahua, who are behind the label’s sixth release featuring a remix by Thugfucker. More releases are in line from Jonny Cruz, Signal Flow & Pattern Drama, disCerN and Plaza Hotel.
