An ‘edge’ usually refers to something unconventional, exiting and new. Something which doesn’t immediately fit in and is somehow different. As KANT means ‘edge’ in Danish and as all above mentioned characteristics fit to the producer from Copenhagen, his name is a perfect fit.
KANT has made big waves in 2014 with a worldwide touring schedule, multiple chart topping releases and heavy radio support from BBC Radio 1 DJs Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard. Through original productions and releases on labels like Kittball, Suara and Katermukke and his talent for remixing he stirred up the interest of major labels across the globe to rework the tracks of international acts such as MØ or Jessie J.
Earlier this year KANT was nominated at the Danish DJ Awards in the categories Producer of the Year and Upfront Release of the Year for ‘Ey Yo’, produced with MK. After touring Europe in the past couple months he has another release lined up for this summer. This time on London based Black Butter Records. But first we have have this deep and soothing mix for you.
