After three sun-soaked editions, Amsterdam Open Air will again return this year at Gaasperpark. In the first week of June you can enjoy the diverse musical, culinary and cultural programming. Of course there’s also the possibility to stay the night over (or dance the night through) at the camp site. This year Open Air will take place during Pinksteren-weekend, so that means there’s no need to take it slow on Sunday evening.
English Deep House producer Dale Howard first burst onto the scene in 2009 with his debut EP on Neurotraxx Deluxe ‘Gotta Be Deep‘, which topped the charts and eventually reached the No. 1 spot. Since then he has been making waves with an array of releases on respected labels like Fear Of Flying, Loco Records, Noir, Gruuv, Local Talk and OFF. With his productions having support from artists like Richie Hawtin, Nic Fancuilli, Mark Knight, Florian Meindl, Funkagenda, Karol XVII & MB Valence and a load more
His tracks ‘Dropout‘ and ‘4 Hour Bang‘, which also stayed in the Top 10 for 9 weeks. In 2010 Dale launched his own imprint ‘Static Audio‘, which has been a hotbed for established and up and coming producers alike: Lucky Luciano, T. Ruggieri, James Dexter, Kyle Watson, JMF, and Luca M are just a few whose work has come out on Dale’s label.
During Amsterdam Open Air, Dale will be playing at the Straf_Werk stage on Sunday, the festival’s second day. Mr. Howard will be accompanied by Adana Twins, Amine Edge & DANCE, Rampa and Re.You and our own Prunk and Kevin Duane. Suffice to say that you will be dancing within a moment’s notice when you come near this stage.
