On the 27th of April it is time for Oranjebloesem again. Away from the Kingsday hububb and overlooking the IJ you can expect a great selection of artist taking care of your perfect Kingsday experience. Part of the profound line up this year is Amsterdam local Applescal.

Pascal Terstappen has previously released three albums and over a hundred tracks and remixes as Applescal. With a distinctive, original take on electronica, house, techno and stellar DJ sets, he’s also played to appreciative crowds in Berlin, New York, Paris, London, Montreal and Barcelona, amongst other cities. Besides establishing himself as a successful producer, remixer and DJ, he is also one of the men behind the rapidly growing Atomnation label.

Devoted to discovering and promoting new talents, Atomnation released much-admired tracks by GidgeDavid Douglas, Weval and Sau Poler, gaining the label a distribution deal with !K7, the company behind the famed DJ Kicks and distributor for other labels including R&S, Crosstown Rebels, Rush Hour and Friends of Friends.

With his new album ‘For’ underway, Applescal’s proving to be one of the most diverse and dedicated contributors to the scene. Expect a subtle mix with an exquisite selection of tracks and an unreleased track of his upcoming album ‘For’.

Pascal will present his fourth long-player as Applescal this spring. Catch Applescal on Tour.
