Paradise City Festival launches a record label and releases first EP “Greatest Hits” from DJ
Oufti.
2 weeks ahead of the 5th edition of their Festival, Paradise City is launching a label “Paradise City Records”. “The label is not really part of a big strategy we have,” says Antoine De Brabandere the label manager. “One night we were listening to some unreleased tracks from a friend of mine and we stumbled on some great music. We decided that we had to release this music instead of letting it disappear on a hard drive. And that’s basically how the label idea started”.
The label’s motto is “For your hearts, not the charts”. “We want to release warm and original music and contribute to the local scene” adds Antoine. DJ Oufti, a completely unknown producer, will kick off the label with his EP “The Greatest Hits” that contains 2 tracks: ‘Boulets au St Greg’ and ‘Hangover en la Majeur’. “There is not a lot we can say about DJ Oufti, only that he is a very talented producer from Liège, and he has several aliases.” The 2 tracks are peak-time weapons for 2019’s hot and sweaty summer.
A very exclusive 2XLP vinyl 8-track will be released on July 5 th with several mysterious producers like DJ Oufti, Rave Aesthetics, Latence, Phnx, and Mirror Minds. Only 200 copies will be sold during Paradise City Festival between July 5 and July 7 where you can also see artists performing like John Talabot, Daphni, Carista Dixon, Eris Drew, DJ Koze, Egyptian Lover, Mind Against, MCDE, Todd Terje, Vaal and many more.
