At the end of the month, panish producer extraordinaire Pional joins the Phonica Records family with his “XME / One Night Stand’ 12”.
Producing for over a decade, the Madrid based musician has enjoyed a string of well received solo releases via Hivern Discs, Permanent Vacation, Young Turks and Counter, while remixing the likes of The xx, Chairlift, The Rapture, Prins Thomas and John Talabot.
Here, his “A Quiet Ceremony” interpretation of ‘XME’ is a slower and more foreboding version of the original, taking its melody into a darker direction.
