Tel-Aviv has burst onto the world stage as a center for forward thinkign electronic music as of late, due in no small part to Red Axes.
After their 2014 debut “Ballad of the Ice,” the duo return with their sophomore follow up album “The Beach Goths,” due for release via their own Garzen Records. Inspired from unique moments and significant experiences over the past year, Red Axes channeled their world traveling experiences into deep mental inspiration for the 12 track long player.
The album is a diverse affair, equally at home banging out post punk as it is chruning the dancefloor power, all with elements of live drums, jangling guitars, fuzzy synths and an overtly psychedelic exposure, resulting in a truly unique listening experience. Check out a sample cut below and make sure you check the album. Also, if you’re in Amsterdam, remember Red Axes (live featuring Abrão ) Curates with DJ Tennis, Barnt, Manfredas, Asaf Samuel, and a very special guest on 6 May at De Marktkantine.
“The Beach Goths” is available 29 June on Garzen Records
