In anticipation of his gig at the Caribbean SXMusic Festival is Holger Behn aka H.O.S.H., a DJ who prizes the art of mixing records and sequencing journeys – preferably long ones – over anything else.
Since 2006, H.O.S.H. has had a key role in the Hamburg-based Diynamic crew (alongside flat mate and label boss Solomun and frequent collaborator Stimming) and, as a result, has helped steer house music into new waters. H.O.S.H. also arranges a string of free, open-air festivals throughout the summer such as the Grünanlage Festivals in northern Germany. “I am a DJ/producer/promoter as music is the only constant thing in my life which didn’t bore me. I get bored very fast by things,” says H.O.S.H. but, whilst he may have a short attention span, his longing for bringing excitement to his work is recognizable.
SXMusic is a brand new, boutique electronic music festival set to unfold March 9-13, 2016, on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Martin. Featuring the cream of international DJing talent – including Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Guy Gerber, Francesca Lombardo, Apollonia, Dubfire, Blond:ish and more – the festival is already a standout event on the international party circuit.
