Henrik Schwarz Invites You To Remix The Romantic Revolution

Innervisions’ Henrik Schwarz and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin have launched a remix contest, inviting aspiring electronic musician a chance to be published by SONY Classical. By taking Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, participants are able to remix and reimagine its samples, ultimately creating a lasting bridge between two musical styles: classical and electronic. Native Instruments Gives iOS iMaschine A Powerful Overhaul

Two years ago, Native Instruments launched their iOS production app iMaschine, and now the company has unleashed a massive upgrade to the portable music production software. As the first music production app to take advantage of iPhone 6′ 3D touch technology, iMaschine 2 has evolved from its original’s sketchpad approach to a full on music production tool, allowing users to create entire tracks on their iphones and/ore ipads. Yesterday, in Berlin (naturally) Native Instruments announced TRAKTOR KONTROL S5 – the latest all-in-one DJ system that has the compatibility with Stems. Native Instruments, creators and proprietors of Traktor DJ Software, have announced a new open audio format entitled ‘STEMS’ rolling out in the upcoming months. Introduced in Miami at last week’s Winter Music Conference, Stems primary goal is to make more aspects of music available for manipulation, whether in the studio or in the booth, by DJs, Remixers, and Producers alike.
