In Conversation: Timo Mass & James Teej

One of the industry’s most interesting and fruitful creative collaborations must be the duo of Timo Maas and James Teej. Mass – being a long time Techno titan and Teej – the Grammy nominated Canadian artist – have worked to great effect over recent years with a string of collaborations including the huge reworking of Paul McCartney. DHA Mix #224 By Timo Maas & James Teej

This past May, industry heavy-weights Timo Maas & James Teej created a perfect storm of the past and the present by finally releasing their elusive reworking of ‘Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five’ by Paul McCartney & Wings. DHA & The Boom Room Present: Timo Maas

In our latest instalment for The Boom Room we asked Saxony’s phenomenon Timo Maas for a mix. What this jack-of-all-trades delivered is an eclectic, percussive heavy gem through the different musical personas of the veteran DJ/Producer. Enjoy. It is also the hometown of our hero Timo Maas, who is – somewhat unsurprisingly – buddies ... Read more

The adventure started Friday afternoon and standing right behind Ferry Corsten when boarding the aircraft left no room for error this was the right flight. At the Ibiza airport big billboards invited me to come and see shows of Avicii, Afrojack and Steve Aoki, but unfortunately for them I had other ... Read more

Review: Luca Lozano – Dobb Meep EP

Luca Lozano has a new drop out on Disc Over Music, and it’s sounds pretty out of the ordinary. In a good way though. The concept of Disc Over Music started merely from Tim Green’s visualization of colorful and enthralling records. Shaped by a distinctive approach towards house music, the label reformed sights on the dance floor by mingling with two opposite emotional states of dance music. Their first release conveyed from Tim Green with two originals, along with remixes from Timo Maas & My Favorite Robot. The result? Well, an inspiring record that sets the tone for more to ...
