The Winter Social is a boutique music festival showcasing a handful of top quality dance music acts in the idyllic setting of the Kent County Showground in Maidstone, UK. Anticipating the event the UK’s Russ Yallop provides his mix.
Located just a stones throw from London, at the beautiful Kent County Showground, the venue captures the great outdoors, as well as the intimacy of its warehouse space, setting the atmosphere for this massive single day event. The festival is organized and curated by Saved Records,the independent music label of premiere DJ Nic Fanciulli, who amongst his finest comrades of Internationally renowned DJ’s are preparing the real deal for this, the festival’s second edition.
Russ Yallop’s appearance came by way of the festival’s 3rd (and final) phase line-up phase, which is looks promising for those with a knack for serious scene leaders. Alongside Russ Yallop, the event brings acts, such as Drumcode’s Adam Beyer, Innervision’s Ame, the immense Maya Jane Coles, Guy Gerber, Holland’s finest Joris Voorn, and more.
In case you are unfamiliar with Russ Yallop (where have you been?), the Crosstown Rebels veteran has also released music on prominent imprints such as Hot Creations, Rebellion, No.19, and Foot & Mouth. Alongside peers Richy Ahmed, Subb-an, wAFF and Robert James, Russ Yallop is part of a new generation of UK-based DJs who have taken the worldwide underground by storm.
