At the end of this month the always excellent Audio Rehab returns to get its 2015 campaign off to a flying start at their HQ, Ministry Of Sound. And owner Mark Radford is bringing along an army of deep tech warriors to get the party rolling big time.
It’s been almost a year since Audio Rehab set up shop at the legendary Ministry Of Sound and, four parties in, they’ve proven to be one of the club’s best new assets. Each party has not only sold out, but has also proven to be a night of consistently good vibes, with big basslines and big DJs on hand at each showcase to really give the punters a full-on evening of entertainment from start to end, which is exactly what a party should be all about.
Headlining at the party on the 31st January will be a plethora of stars including Shiba San, Tough Love, Mark Radford, DJ S.K.T, Nightshift, Carnao Beats, Croatia Squad, Apollo 84, Adam Cotier and Riaz Dhannani, Max Eskuche, with Plus Recordings and Covert hosting the Baby Box and Loft respectively.
In recent times headliner Shiba San has garnered a lot of positive attention from every corner, with one foot in his hip hop past and the other embracing the future of house he has found a comfortable collision of the two in bass heavy ghetto funk. And associations with both Claude Von Stroke’s Dirtybird label and AMINE & Dance’s Cuff certainly haven’t hurt. he has topped Beatport charts with cuts like “Okay” and is joined by DJ and producer duo Tough Love.
The deep tech movement spearheaded by Mark Radford and co has been in the mainstream press recently, with the Guardian publishing a piece on the scene. Mark sat down with us for a chat recently and you’ll be able to read the interview early next week, so make sure you stay tuned to Deep House London for that!
