UK club night Back to Basics is celebrating more than 25 years of regular house parties with a limited edition souvenir coffee table book.

Back to Basics is known throughout the industry for its underground attitude, pioneering parties, and for sticking true to its house music ideas since the early nineties. Artists like Basement Jaxx, Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus, X Press 2, James Zabiela have all played, making it one of the most influential in the country.

This new book features hand picked photographs from the lifelong musical figure behind the night, Dave Beer, as well as from events over the years, either taken by professional photographers or fans. The photos that are being shown on the big screen at Millennium Square on the night of the Symphonic Sounds show  will see classic club anthems reimagined and performed in a contemporary way by the 50-piece symphony orchestra from Opera North on Friday, July 28.

Released at the end of July, just after the Millennium Square show, the book is being put together to raise funds for the soon to open Back to Basics Music Academy.
