Born and raised in New Jersey, Nicuri’s journey toward producing music and DJing took hold later than most.
Growing up in the early 80’s, listening to everything hip hop to new wave, Nicuri’s first house & techno experience was in the very early 90’s when he became hooked. Now, Nicuri spins a range from soulful/deep house grooves to techno with careful selections arranged into one seamless journey, which has landed him spinning at Concrete in Paris and at the Panorama Bar in Berlin on his first tour. From there he’s spun at Output and many other clubs in NY.
Nicuri’s first track release was on DJ Qu’s record label Strength Music on the Exchange Place series with later releases coming by way of Growin’ Music, Inimeg Records, Bliq, Mora Music, YYG,, with a forthcoming remix of DJ Duke coming via Solo Works (30 January).
