Montel’s sound has always focused on the true spirit of House and Techno. No quirks or gimmicks, just heavy grooves and rhythms that are always aimed at the dancefloor.
That’s the reason why his productions have graced top labels such as Bedrock, Leftroom, Knee Deep In Sound, Avotre, Madtech, Material and many more. Key players such as John Digweed, and Hot Since 82 have championed his sound to huge audiences across the globe, while top jocks Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, B-Traits, Monki on BBC Radio 1 have rinsed his tracks on a weekly basis to literally millions of listeners.
Montel made his first appearance on Lost Records earlier this year, with ‘Jumpin’ as part of the Lost Summer Selection, and now ‘Stompin’ marks his full debut release on the thriving London-based label. The track quickly lives up to its name with heavy kicks as background sirens, vocal coos, drum rolls and a fuzzy square wave bassline complete the mix.
“Stompin” is available 26 October on Lost Records
